DxO Labs has added support for two popular cameras and lens combinations to its DxO Optics Pro software.

November 3, 2006: DxO Labs has added support for two popular cameras and lens combinations to its DxO Optics Pro software.

Owners of the recently released Canon EOS 400D and Nikon D80 can now use the DxO Optics Pro digital image enhancement tools, which cover optics, geometry, noise, exposure and colour corrections in an easy-to-use, feature rich application. Support for the new cameras is provided in both the ‘Standard’ and ‘Elite’ versions of DxO Optics Pro v4. DxO Optics Pro v4 for Windows is available immediately from www.dxo.com. The Macintosh (Universal Binary) version is slated for late November.

DxO Optics Pro v4 support currently covers the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 USM, the Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM, and the Canon EF17-40mm f/4L USM and the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED, the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G IF ED and the new AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED lenses. Lens support for these two cameras will be greatly expanded in the coming weeks.
