December 2001: Nikon Europe has posted a downloadable update for NikonCapture software for its D-1/D1X/D1H digital SLR cameras. The new v.2.0.2 update is designed for Windows ME / 2000 / 98 SE and Windows XP and MacOS 8.6 / 9.x operating systems but requires a previously installed version of Nikon Capture version 2.0 (it will not work for NikonCapture version 1). The update provides Windows XP compatibility and provides several Mac and Windows bug fixes (which are listed on the URL supplied below). In addition, an error that formerly prevented further use of the software will no longer occur when trying to register a camera with a dual CPU computer running Windows 2000 Professional.
