Dr Les Walkling will present a workshop on digital printing and the production of wide format prints at Sun Studios Australia on the evening of Tuesday, 4 December.

Walklingis an artist, educator and consultant whose work is included in many public collections both in Australia and overseas. He also conducts regular digital imaging courses through the Centre for Contemporary Photography, and presents his research at industry conferences, seminars and festivals.

The seminar will present a comprehensive overview of the critical practice and distinctions surrounding the efficient production of wide format digital prints, including  how to evaluate print quality; the relationship between an image and its output gamut, how to increase production efficiency and accuracy along with cost savings, and how to ensure your time, effort and investment produces a maximum return financially, physically and aesthetically.
