Digital Camera Calibration

April 15, 2008: Rags Gardner has added the Perfect-Pixs Natural Colour Card to his Adobe Camera Raw scripts for digital camera calibration.
The scripts are free of charge and provided as shareware with no warranty. They have been tested with Photoshop CS1, CS2 and CS3. They text reports showing the variance between the target and image colours. The reports show the details for each patch followed by summaries and statistics by category. Other analysis includes an evaluation of the image colour noise, lighting uniformity, and potential gamut problems. Complete information about the script options and the reports is available in the respective User’s Guides.
