March 23, 2007: The Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) is organising a series of Digital Asset Management (DAM) Seminars that will be held in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane from Friday 25 to Wednesday 30May 2007.
Presenter, US based photographer Peter Krogh, will provide information to digital photographers who are looking to streamline their workflow with Adobe Bridge and Digital Asset Management Software. The workshops will reveal practical techniques for securing long-term storage of digital images. They will be split into two sessions: the morning session will involve demonstrations of best practices in image handling including the use of Adobe Bridge, custom scripts, the DNG format and iView MediaPro. Attendees will also work to get their own software up and running as efficiently as possible, with Peter’s guidance to provide them with the best results. In the afternoon session, attendees can work with their own images following along with Peter, gaining experience in putting the skills and workflow practices into play. The seminars are being sponsored by Nikon Professional Services and John Wallace, National Business Manager, Pro Markets will be presenting and discussing Nikon workflow at each seminar. Nikon Australia will also have members from their Professional Services Team attending each seminar to demonstrate the Nikon Capture NX software and will be offering attendees free sensor cleans.
