The deadline for entries to the Commonwealth Photographic Awards 2006/07 competition has been extended to Friday 27 April.

 

January 22, 2007: The deadline for entries to the Commonwealth Photographic Awards 2006/07 competition has been extended to Friday 27 April.
Run by the Commonwealth Press Union, this open competition is targeted at both amateur and professional photographers over the age of 18 years. No entry fee is charged and entry is restricted to residents of Commonwealth countries. Previous Regional or Overall winners may not enter. There are three categories in this competition:
– the Regional/Overall Category award;
– the ‘Canberra Times/CPU Young Photographer’ residency award;
– the ‘Three Pictures – One Story’ award.
Entrants can only enter one category and may only enter once. Multiple entries may lead to disqualification. The theme for all entries is ‘Achievement‘. Please note that good interpretation of the theme is taken into consideration by the judges.
