This year’s show by the Camera & Imaging Products Association (CIPA) introduces a new video area for professionals and seminars covering key video practices and technologies related to shooting movies with DSLRs.

The CP+2013 Camera & Imaging Show opens at the PACIFICO YOKOHAMA on January 31 (Thursday) and will run until February 3 (Sunday), 2013. This the fourth year the show has been held at Yokohama, a bustling international hub and one of the largest cities in Japan. Through a variety of events such as photo exhibitions and product exhibits that allow visitors to experience the fun of ‘communicating and connecting’ through photographs. The event will also provide an opportunity for the many  aspects of photography and video related to industry and culture to come together.

Seminars and presentations by representatives of all leading camera manufacturers will provide insights into the development of the latest landmark cameras, including the Panasonic FZ200, Canon EOS M, Sony RX1/RX100, Fujifilm X-Pro1 and Olympus E-M5. Panel discussions will be held on the changes from film to digital, inkjet printing and the shifting ILC landscape. CIPA and GfK will present market statistics and an alysis of trends.
