The 2018 CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show will this year be held from 1-4 March at the Pacifico Yokohama Exhibition Hall and Conference Centre in Japan.
The annual event is an important time for manufacturers to announce and showcase their latest equipment and engage with keen photographers from around the world. This year’s CP+ will include Asia’s largest photobook fair as well as exhibitions focusing on Paris (Magnum Paris in Monochrome and the new Japan-France joint photo award, LES ZOOMS) as well as a huge used camera fair and photo accessory outlet, both with goods to sell.
Last year, CP+ was the largest ever, with more than 66,000 visitors and 23 World Premieres (products that are announced first, globally, via the show) announced during this event. In addition to new product presentations, the four days this year will see many events, such as a new Photo Weekend plan mainly for young women and a community space known as PHOTO HARBOUR, which will be held in Osanbashi Hall. Various other new projects will allow more and more people, from families to professional photographers, to experience the joy and wonder of photo imaging.
Admission to the exhibition costs 1,500 Yen with free admission for disability certificate holders, and children of age 12 or younger. Free admission is available for visitors pre-registered via the official website at www.cpplus.jp. Full details of events and exhibitors can be downloaded from this site.
