December 9, 2009: The Camera & Imaging Products Association (CIPA) has announced a new camera and photo imaging show that will kick off in Yokohama, Japan, in March 2010.
Designed to create a new international photographic industry exhibition that compares with Photokina in Germany or PMA in the USA, the event will provide a platform for camera equipment manufacturers, component/device suppliers and software developers to present their products/technologies on a global scale and explore untapped business opportunities. In addition to a comprehensive equipment show, there will also be lectures, seminars, galleries, panel discussions and speeches to facilitate and nurture further development of the photographic society at large.
The new event will operate under the title “CP+” (Camera & Photo Imaging Show, pronounced [see-pea-plus]) and be hosted by CIPA. The first exhibition of “CP+” is scheduled to be held in “Pacifico Yokohama” of Yokohama-city, Kanagawa, between March 11 and 14, 2010.
