Canon is running a Bonus Gift promotion, where purchasers redeem a free complementary accessory depending on which product they have purchased ““ for instance a Crumpler bag for EOS customers.

There’s also a major prize of $1 million on offer. The lucky person will face a board comprising 100 photos. One photo will have the $1 Million prize on the back; the other 99 will have a $10,000 consolation prize on the back. So there’s a 1-in-100 chance of winning $1 million and a 99-in-100 chance of winning $10,000.

The event will happen in Sydney on March 5, 2010, while the promotion is open for purchases made between October 15 and January 9.
