September 9, 2005: Casio’s latest Exilim camera, the EX-Z110, features a 6-megapixel CCD sensor and 28 BestShot scene settings.
The new model is designed to be user-friendly, fun, and convenient and comes with a 2.0-inch TFT colour LCD display as well as a standard optical viewfinder and 3x optical zoom lens. It also features Anti Shake Digital Signal Processing plus Casio’s Exilim Engine image processing module, which delivers high quality images, quick operation, and low power consumption. Auto Macro and Quick Shutter functions ensure that photos are properly focused and a High Sensitivity Mode produces clear shots with a bright background without the flash, even when lighting is dim.
The EX-Z110’s the mode dial and easy mode menu use simple icon images that make picture taking simple for beginner digital camera users and Direct On buttons provide fast start-up for quick shots and photo viewing. The camera runs on AA batteries and has an AV out port allowing quick and convenient image viewing on televisions. Movie clips can be recorded with VGA (640×480 pixels) quality at 30 frames per second. A built-in internal flash memory of approx. 8.7MB recordable area is provided, along with an SD/MMC card slot.
