Entries open today for the 2012 Carl Zeiss Photo Contest, which is open to anyone who can submit a picture that has been taken with a Zeiss lens.
Pictures can be taken on devices as diverse as DSLR cameras and Nokia smartphones, provided a Zeiss lens is used. The theme of the competition is ‘The moment that knows no limits’and organisers are looking for images that portray the moments in life when suddenly everything is possible; ‘moments that are so full of energy that they create room for something completely new’ (according to the organisers). Entries close on January 15, 2013.
As in 2011, the contest can be followed on Flickr, the online photo community. Participants should upload their best image to the theme “The moment that knows no limits” on the OFFICIAL Carl Zeiss Lenses Group on Flickr and tag it with the keyword ZEISSContest2012.
