Canson & Arches Award Winners

October 30, 2006: Winners of the 2006 Canson and Arches Inkjet Printing Award for higher education students have just been announced.
The contest was open to higher education students from all over Australia, as long as one of their subjects studied in 2006 was related to Photography or Digital Imaging. The entrant could have been a full or part time student and the unit could have been elective or a major. This year’s winners are as follows:
Best Colour Inkjet Print
1st Place: Stephanie Neoh from RMIT in Melbourne
2^nd Place: Josip Kelava from Swinburne University in Melbourne
3^rd Place: Michael Richardson Meadowbank TAFE, NSW

Best Black & White Inkjet Print
1^st Place: Caroline Tilney from Southbank TAFE, Qld.
2^nd Place: Calista Lyon from NMIT in Melbourne
3^rd Place: Lorna Sim from CIT in Canberra

Best Canvas Inkjet Print
1^st Place: Bruce Walker from the BBS School of Sydney
2^nd Place: Angela Turnbull from Hornsby TAFE, NSW
3^rd Place: Caroline Tilney from Southbank TAFE, QLD
In each category, the prizes awarded were:
1st prize$1000
Includes $400 in Canson or Arches Inkjet products with the balance in cash.
2nd prize $500
Includes $200 in Canson or Arches Inkjet products with the balance in cash.
3rd prize $200
Includes $100 in Canson or Arches Inkjet products with the balance in cash.
