Canon’s latest all-in-one printer, the PIXMA MP830, combines scanning, copying and faxing with high resolution printing of documents and images.
June 2, 2006: Canon’s latest all-in-one printer, the PIXMA MP830, combines scanning, copying and faxing with high resolution printing of documents and images. Designed to provide a total business solution for small businesses or home offices, the PIXMA MP830 uses Canon’s proprietary one picolitre FINE print-head technology to deliver 9600 x 2400 dpi print resolution. High quality documents are printed at up to 30 pages/minute in black and 24 pages/minute in colour. Lab-quality 6 x 4-inch photos take as little as 36 seconds to print. The MP830 is the first all-in-one printer in its class to include the Auto Duplex ADF for scanning and copying double-sided pages automatically. The MP830 also makes document copying more convenient with intuitive functions such as Auto Exposure, which automatically reduces the “see-through” effect when photocopying double-sided pages. A handy 4-on-1 copy function allows users to reduce four A4 documents and print them onto one A4 page. Its Super G3 high-speed fax comes with storage for up to 250 incoming pages, eliminating the need for constant refills, while features such as an answering machine connection, memory transmission and Remote Reception further enhance the flexibility of this device in any small or home office environment. The PIXMA MP830 is available now from Canon resellers around Australia, for $549 RRP. For further information on Canon’s product range phone Canon on 1800 021 167 or visit www.canon.com.au.
