Canon will add three new tilt-shift macro lenses and a fast portrait prime lens plus a macro flash unit to its product portfolio before the end of the year.

At 1:1 reproduction ratios, the three lenses will have working distances of  7.2 cm,  39 cm and 49 cm, respectively.

The new macro lenses all feature optical improvements, with two anti-reflective coatings ““ SubWaveLength Structure Coating (SWC) in the 50mm and 135mm lenses and Air-Sphere Coating in the 50mm and 90mm optics.  In addition, the tilt and shift knobs are now larger and a lock-release button and tilt-locking mechanism have been added. According to the Canon USA website, these lenses will start shipping in November and each will cost approximately US$2199.
