Equipped with an 18-megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC image processor, the EOS M10 is equipped with Canon’s Hybrid CMOS AF II autofocusing system, which has phase detection pixels embedded in the imaging sensor and 49 sensor points that can lock-in accurately when shooting both still pictures and movie clips. Continuous autofocusing ensures subjects are sharp under varying shooting conditions. Like its predecessors, the EOS M10 has no viewfinder but features a tilting 3-inch touch-screen monitor with minimalistic controls and customisable menus that enable users to tailor the camera to their needs. Tilting the screen up through 180 degrees automatically launches Self Portrait Mode.

Wireless Remote Shooting with full manual control is available via the EOS Canon Camera Connect app.

The EOS M10 body measures 108 x 66.6 x 35mm and weighs approximately 301 grams with battery and memory card installed. Its LP-E12 battery is CIPA rated for approximately 255 shots/charge.
