The Auto-Scan button automatically recognises the type of original and then scans and saves the files with suitable settings. In addition, the CS9000F also provides an accurate Optical Character Recognition (OCR) function to convert printed text to editable electronic documents. Canon’s proprietary Film Automatic Retouching and Enhancement (FARE) Level 3 technology provides dust and scratch removal via an infrared light that scans for physical defects on the film surface. The software bundle includes Adobe PhotoShop Elements, ArcSoft PhotoStudio and the advanced SilverFast SE package, which provides photographers with greater control for film scanning. RRP for the CanoScan CSCS9000F is $379.
