May 7, 2007: The first media storage device produced by Canon is now available in Australia.
Designed for enthusiast photographers, the M80 features a huge ultra-bright 3.7-inch TFT screen with 160 degree viewing angle for displaying images and video review. Offering a storage capacity of 80GB, the M80 eliminates the need to carry a notebook PC or multiple memory cards. Users can transfer, store and view images with the device, which is light in weight and reliable. A magnesium alloy body and a rubber casing provide excellent shock absorption to protect the HDD inside.
Compatible with any DSLR camera on the market, the Canon M80 is designed with Canon users’ needs in mind. Capable of supporting the same shooting information and RAW data as EOS Digital, the Canon M80 also shares the same battery as the Canon 30D, 5D and 20D. The menu interface is also similar in design to Canon DSLR products.
The Canon M80 will be available through Canon dealers nationally for an RRP of $1099. For more information, phone Canon on 1800 021 167, or visit the website at www.canon.com.au.
