February 7, 2011: Canon has released details of four new PIXMA multifunction inkjet printers and one compact A3 printer, which will go on sale between February and April.
Designed to meet the needs of small business owners, freelancers and home office workers, the new PIXMA office range includes the first models to support auto double-sided copying and scanning. The new multifunction MX range printers all have auto document feed (ADF) and Wi-Fi/Ethernet Connectivity, and will fax, print, scan, copy, as well as print photos directly from cameras or memory cards.

The flagship PIXMA iX6550 (RRP $399 TBC) model is stylish and compact with a smaller footprint than its predecessor the iX5000. It can produce high-quality documents and marketing materials ranging from A5 to A3 size and features a new Full HD Movie Print. Purchasers can also access exclusive online design templates to help them create professional looking documents and posters easily.

The PIXMA MX360 (RRP $99 TBC), MX410 (RRP $129 TBC), MX420 (RRP $149 TBC) and MX885 (RRP $269 TBC) models also offer the Full HD Movie Print function and come with Wi-Fi and Ethernet support than enables users to print and scan from almost anywhere within range. Direct printing from iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, as well as Android devices is also supported.

The MX885 is the only model to support auto double-sided copying and scanning and has an automatic document feeder that accepts up to 35 sheets at a time. The ADF in the other models can handle up to 30 sheets. Details of the new models are available at www.canon.com.au.
