Organisations and individuals who would like to hold an exhibition concurrently with next year’s Head On Photo Festival have until 12 October to apply.
This call only applies to exhibitions that will take place during the month-long festival, which is scheduled for 1-31 May 2015. A call for submissions to the Head On Prizes (Portrait, Landscape, Mobile etc) will be made separately and at a later date.
Applications can be made for either a group or solo exhibition. Successful applicants will be invited to exhibit either as a Curated exhibition, a Featured Exhibition or an Associated Exhibition. The selection committee will be looking for submissions of high technical quality which demonstrate a high level of engagement with the subject/s and invoke a high level of engagement with the viewer. The images submitted as part of the Application should reflect the narrative the artist wishes to communicate.
