July 28, 2010: The Australian Museum is calling for entries in its annual ø¢â‚¬ËœUp Close & Spineless’ competition, which focuses on animals without a backbone.
The annual photographic competition requires entrants to photograph invertebrate animals at the beach, in the bush and in backyards. There are four competition categories: Professional, Open, Primary School and Secondary School. All entrants will be up for selection for the 2010 Up Close & Spineless exhibition in October, and could win one of four $600 vouchers for photographic supplies.
Entries close on 3 September, 2010. Full terms and conditions and entry forms are online at www.australianmuseum.net.au/UpClose/. Winning images from last year’s competition are currently on display at the Australian Museum.
