November 14, 2011: Buffalo has announced the Australian release of CloudStation, a new storage solution which enables users to access and share digital content stored on their own personal cloud.
CloudStation drives provide a portal to freely access and share photos, videos, music and much more with anyone, anywhere through the cloud. At the centre of every CloudStation is the Pogoplug cloud service. The service connects users to their storage and allows them to freely access and share their storage anywhere in the world. Files are securely shared between people and there is no need for user setup; users simply email a link to their family and friends.
Users’ digital content always resides on CloudStation and the online service is only used to connect users and guests to specified files on the device. Unlike other online storage services, CloudStation has no capacity or service fees and provides users with complete control over the safety and security of their personal digital files.
