: Bowens is the first company to make a pre-Photokina product announcement, revealing details of a new light bank aimed at digital photographers and video/ TV studios that will go on sale in October.  The new Studio Lite SL 455 (four tube) and SL 855 (eight tube) systems are purpose-built and feature dimmable, easily replaceable, lamps. The lamps have a lifespan of more than 10,000 hours and offer a choice of light output, colour temperature and colour rendition. Efficient reflector design maximises the available light and creates an even light spread. Users can fit quickly fit a reflector over the top of the unit and barn door attachments are easily removable. The new light banks also run very cool and maintain colour temperature and light output over extended periods of operation. Full details will be available from Australian Distributor, C.R.
