Blackmagic Design is releasing an entirely new operating system and user interface that brings new features and advancements to the URSA Mini camera.
The new Blackmagic Camera 4.0 Public Beta provides a simplified operating system that will enhance user interaction with cameras, thanks to a intuitive interface backed by a completely new code (meaning no legacy code). This will make most important functions more easily accessible. In addition, some features will now run as apps, providing improved ability to seamlessly toggle between settings with minimal interruption to their filmmaking process. Users will also gain access to custom white balance, white balance presets, expanded shutter angle options, and fast color exposure tools.
Full details are available in the public beta via the official press release on Blackmagic’s website, here.
