The Ballarat International Foto Biennale (BIFB) is asking for donations to raise funds for its new home in Ballarat.

The new National Centre for Photography will house three galleries for displaying temporary exhibitions of contemporary photography, a photo book library and the permanent collection for the Martin Kantor Portrait collection. It will also include a dedicated education area which will house the workshop and the dark room, two artist-in-residence apartments and the administrative offices.

Donations received before the end of the financial year will be matched dollar for dollar by Creative Partnerships Australia. BIFB is a registered not-for-profit with full DGR status. All donations over $2 are tax deductible. To donate, visit https://ballaratfoto.org/donate-now/. Anyone who would like to be considered as a founding donor to the building should email BIFB on info@ballaratfoto.org to receive the prospectus.
