June 27, 2006: Bibble Labs has released an upgrade to its popular Bibble Pro and Bibble Lite raw file conversion programs with a redesigned and more powerful Lens Correction tool that lets users correct barrel and pin-cushion distortion, as well as chromatic aberration and vignetting.
The new versions are available free to existing Bibble 4 license holders, and represent the third major upgrade for 2006. A new plug-in is also distributed with the application to allow robust B&W conversion, plus an innovative Spot Colour feature that gives a wider range of effects than other raw file converters offer. Bibble is available in both “Pro ($US129.95)” and “Lite” ($US69.95) versions for Windows, Macintosh (PPC/Intel) and Linux. A fully functional 14 day trial version can be downloaded from the company’s web site at http://www.bibblelabs.com.
