Renowned fine art photographer, Art Wolfe, will visit Australia in March 2012 to conduct a series of public lectures and one-day workshops in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

The public lectures titled ‘Between Heaven and Earth‘  are multi-media presentations  tracing Art Wolfe’s formative years and development as an artist.  They are centred on the Himalayan regions of India, China, Nepal and Bhutan, places that triggered Wolfe’s  imagination  and helped him to develop his portfolio of images that interpret and record the world’s fast-disappearing wildlife, landscapes and native cultures. The lectures run from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm and the fee to attend is $95.
The Workshops will run from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at a cost of $395. They will cover a wide range of topics from discovering subjects to elements of design. Wolfe will dissect a series of images and explore in depth what makes a compelling and emotionally engaging photograph. Participants will learn new concepts and practical approaches to help them take their photography to higher, more inspired and more enjoyable levels.
