ArcSoft is demonstrating its new Smile Detection, Blink Detection, and Dynamic Lighting Embedded Solutions for digital cameras and camera phones this week at the PMA 2007 Convention in Las Vegas.

 

March 9, 2007: ArcSoft is demonstrating its new Smile Detection, Blink Detection, and Dynamic Lighting Embedded Solutions for digital cameras and camera phones this week at the PMA 2007 Convention in Las Vegas.
The three new applications bring the total number of ArcSoft’s widely used Embedded Solutions to 11. The Smile Detection and Blink Detection technologies help ensure all subjects in photos look acceptable every shot. The new Dynamic Lighting technology compensates for unfavourable lighting conditions by brightening underexposed areas and balancing overexposed areas. These new technologies will be introduced into digital still cameras and camera phones during 2007.
Working closely with major OEM manufacturers, ArcSoft offers a full line of imaging and video solutions that enhance the features, performance, and user experience of mobile phones, digital cameras, optical drives, personal computers, and consumer electronics devices.
