Apple Computer has released Mac OS X 10.5.6, a new update that is recommended for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard versions 10.5, 10.5.1, 10.5.2, 10.5.3, 10.5.4, and 10.5.5.
December 17, 2008: Apple Computer has released Mac OS X 10.5.6, a new update that is recommended for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard versions 10.5, 10.5.1, 10.5.2, 10.5.3, 10.5.4, and 10.5.5.
The new update includes graphics improvements aimed at Aperture users plus adjustments to improve printing from Adobe’s CS3 applications and to Canon and Brother printers that connect via USB, the company has released little information on specific improvements. Other issues addressed include reliability of Address Book synching, and AirPort connections, client management, iChat, mail, MobileMe, networking and Parental Controls. Graphics improvements include general improvements to gaming performance, enhancements for iChat, Cover Flow, Aperture, and iTunes and fixes for possible graphics distortion issues with certain ATI graphics cards.
