Adobe has released Camera Raw 8.7.1 and DNG Converter 8.7.1 adding support for the Sony A7 Mark II camera plus a number of new lens profiles.
The latest version of the plug-ins also correct problems with chromatic aberration adjustments for the Samsungs NX1. New lens profiles include the Canon EF 24″“105mm f/3.5″“5.6 IS STM, Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM and Tokina AT-X 12″“28 f/4 PRO DX lenses for the Canon EF mount; the Tokina AT-X 12″“28 F4 PRO DX and Tokina AT-X 70″“200mm F4 PRO FX VCM-S for Nikon F mount cameras, the Zeiss Distagon T* 1,4/35 ZM for the Leica M mount and the Tokina AT-X 166 PRO DX II 11″“16 f/2.8 for Sony Alpha cameras. An update for Lightroom (v.5.7.1) is due for release soon.
Both updates are available free to current Adobe Creative Cloud subscribers or owners of Photoshop CS6. If your dsoftware doesn’t install them automatically, they can be downloaded from http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2014/12/camera-raw-8-7-1-is-now-available.html.
