Adobe Unveils Creative Suite 4

September 23, 2008: Adobe Systems lifted the wraps from its latest Creative Suite of products at 2 pm Eastern Australian Time.
The new Creative Suite 4 will be offered in four editions: Design Premium, Web Premium, Production Premium and Master Collection. Design Premium combines new versions of InDesign CS4, Photoshop CS4 Extended, Illustrator CS4, Flash CS4 Professional, Dreamweaver CS4, and Acrobat 9 Pro software. Also included in Design Premium for the first time is Adobe Fireworks CS4 software for quickly prototyping websites and applications. Bridge CS4, Device Central CS4, Media Player and Version Cue CS4 are also included. New online services accessed from within Design Premium provide a resource for obtaining help from an online community, sharing screens with colleagues and clients and managing day-to-day web content updates.

Adobe CS4 Design Premium
Web Premium contains Dreamweaver CS4, Flash CS4 Professional, Photoshop CS4 Extended, Illustrator CS4 and Fireworks CS4, plus the intuitive audio features of Soundbooth CS4 software, and the integrated mobile authoring of Device Central CS4 software. All components integrate with a full range of services including Adobe ConnectNow (an Acrobat.com service) for online meeting collaboration, Adobe Kuler for expressive color set creation and Adobe InContext Editing for client website modifications.

The Web suite of products is also available in a Standard collection.
Adobe Creative Suite 4 Production Premium is a complete solution for creative professionals who need to craft world-class video, audio and interactive media – on-air, online, on device and invariably on deadline. Containing After effects CS4, Premiere pro CS4, Photoshop CS4 Extended, Flash CS4 Professional, Illustrator CS4, Soundbooth CS4 and OnLocation CS4, it also includes Encore CS4, Device Central CS4, Bridge CS4 and Adobe Dynamic Link which provides added integration for expanded productivity.

Creative Suite 4 Production Premium.
The Creative Suite 4 Master Collection combines the best of the applications from the other editions and also includes Adobe Bridge CS4, Device Central CS4, Dynamic Link, Adobe Media Player and Version Cue CS4. Suitable for a wide range of professionals, including graphic designers, web professionals, video professionals and educators, it provides full cross-media support and enables users to produce interactive, online versions of print content with video components.

Creative Suite 4 Design Standard is also available and combines Adobe InDesign CS4, Photoshop CS4, Illustrator CS4, and Acrobat 9 Pro software.
