Adobe has released updates to its two versions of Lightroom, restoring the original import experience and adding new cameras and lens profiles.

These updates will please users who were annoyed by the re-design of the import interface in Lightroom 6.2, which had many performance issues. The updated versions will restore the old import interface and should resolve the performance issues plaguing Lightroom 6.2. New cameras added to the supported cameras list include the Canon EOS M10, Canon PowerShot G5 X, Canon PowerShot G9 X, Fujifilm X-T1 IR, Leica SL (Typ 601) and Sony DSC-RX1R Mark II. The new version also adds tethered camera support for the Canon EOS 5DS, 5DSR, 750D and 760D. A number of lens profiles have also been added but so far, no profile support is provided for Olympus lenses ““ although the lenses on the Apple iPhone 6s are supported. (Note: Olympus lenses aren’t supported in Adobe Camera Raw for Photoshop, either.)
