Entries are being sought to the ADAPT/DES Beyond Creation awards, which are being run in conjunction with this year’s ADAPT (Australian Digital Art & Photo Technology) show in Melbourne from 13-15 July.
June 15, 2006: Entries are being sought to the ADAPT/DES Beyond Creation awards, which are being run in conjunction with this year’s ADAPT (Australian Digital Art & Photo Technology) show in Melbourne from 13-15 July. The awards are open to enthusiast, student and professional photographers and focus on “the collision of fine art and photography”. Submissions can vary from prints on unusual media (such as canvas) to books, collages and other types of output. Images will be judged in two categories: the DES Digital Print Making Innovation award and the DES Young Achiever of the Year Digital Print Making award. First prize in each category is a free place in the Chromaticity Digital Print Makers Master Class (worth $1095 ext GST) plus DES media to the value of $300. All entries must be created using inkjet printers. An entry fee of $33 is required (payable by cheque or credit card) and all entries must arrive at Exhibitions Pty Ltd, PO Box 480, Lindfield, NSW 2070 by 4:00pm on Friday, 7th July, 2006.
