Term 4 photography courses begin on 11 October at the Australian Centre for Photography in Sydney and course details and enrolment facilities are available now.
Starting in October and November is the most popular foundation course, Camera Craft 1, which teaches novices how to use an SLR camera. For more experienced photographers there are courses in B&W printing, lighting, use of flash, iPhone photography, portraiture and street photography. The ACP has also announced a new eight-week program for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders aged between 15 and 25. Photolines starts 10 October 2012 and will run every Wednesday from 4″“6pm at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence in Redfern, Sydney. Participants will gain photography, storytelling and change-making skills. All equipment is provided, including cameras. Details at:
