Featuring the work of four photographers from Australia, Russia and the United States, the display explores the intersection between documentary realism, fiction and question the nature of truth, using a true crime story, a place or a time as source material. Participating photographers, Jordan Madge, Irina Rozovsky, Daniel Shea and Stanley Wolukau-Wanambwa, explore poetic and political narratives of social identity, place and history.

The exhibition is curated by The Heavy Collective, represented by Jack Harries, as part of ACP’s Carte Blanche Program. The images will be on display at the ACP Project Space Gallery, 72 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst NSW 2010 until 8 July 2017. The gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Entry is free.
