March 6, 2008: The Australian Centre for Photography has planned an intensive weekend workshop on landscape photography in the Snowy Mountains between Friday 18 and Sunday 20 April.
The workshop will be based around Adaminaby, in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains. Landscape photographers, Murray van der Veer and Mark Lang, will lead participants through a course focused on developing pre-visualisation and photographic skills to enable them to create landscape images that tell the story they want to tell. Technical practical aspects of the art of outdoor photography will be covered as part of the workshop.
Following the intensive weekend shooting workshop, an optional digital post-production workshop will be held in ACP’s state-of-the-art digital suite. All participants will have the opportunity to exhibit their Snowy Mountain images in a group exhibition at the Australian Centre for Photography gallery. Participants should be prepared for medium level bush walking.
For more information, phone the ACP Workshop office between 12 midday and 6pm, 7 days on (02) 9332 1455 or visit www.acpworkshop.com.
