Photo Review Challenge 19 was to capture a subject reflected in water or on a wet surface. We complicated matters by adding that we didn’t want to to see the subject itself, just its reflection. That narrowed the field a bit, but happily posed no problems for our talented contributors.

Photo Review Challenge 19 was to capture a subject reflected in water or on a wet surface. We complicated matters by adding that we didn’t want to to see the subject itself, just its reflection. That narrowed the field a bit, but happily posed no problems for our talented contributors.

The winning image was taken by Andrea Jolly of Quorn in South Australia and it is entitled: ‘The sunflowers taken after heavy rain in the Flinders Ranges’. Andrea has won a Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Executive Edition.

We also quite liked the attention to detail in another of Andrea’s images which she captioned: ‘Eggs – at home after hearty eating’:

Our runner-up picture is from Nathan Edwards, who writes: ‘please find attached a photo I recently took in Spain on our honeymoon. A rainy day provided the great opportunity to capture a reflection of our hotel in a puddle.’
