One simple trick for making good street pictures is to find a spot with a nice, strong composition and then just wait to see what happens as folks walk by.

It takes patience, but you’re often rewarded with gems like this one from Bruce Herbes.

His central subject is captured mid-stride, so our eye goes there first before we discover the other figures and, perhaps lastly, the serendipitous white arrow pointing at the reflection of our hero in three-quarter profile.

Thoroughly satisfying.
