Capturing the last light over the alpine area on the road leading down from Mt Hotham.

Photographer Trace O’Rourke’s sinuous road winding through a landscape is so tactile that I practically want to reach out and pet the furry slope on the left.
The detail of the dead looking white branches against the rich black of the still living trees is a delight to the eye.
And the road fairly pulls you into the distance where a distant plain can just be made out.
I think this fine picture would work well at an imposing size.
