This shot of Russell in Canberra is from Mount Anslie.
In winter, this can be spectacular and on this morning I have tried to focus on the Eagle monument and Mount Pleasant lookout being engulfed in the fog.
I like to shoot panoramas and this shot allowed me to zoom in and focus on the scene that suited the panorama format.
Don’s response
There is something curiously restful about this image from Chad Clark.
The way the peaks emerge out of the sea of cloud is a lovely effect and the panorama aspect is just right.
Getting up early plainly has its rewards.
