This image was one of a group of documentary shots sent in by photographer Ned Cooper.
The most interesting part of the picture is not the preacher holding his holy book and looking out of shot, but the fellow with the drink who is framed by the handrail.
I think the image might have been stronger if it had just focused in on the man with the drink and the preacher as there’s just not enough interesting activity in the rest of the frame.
