While in some circumstances photographer Dennis Friend’s picture of a wild animal being lured in for a picture might be frowned upon, I’m confident this is something that our subject has a great deal of experience with.
Most Australians have seen pelicans up close – but probably not while they’re flying.
This nice three-quarter portrait allows the viewer to inspect all the interesting details.
