It’s easy to see why Charles Kosina was attracted to this scene; clear skies and not a breath of wind to disturb the perfect reflection.
I think the composition is headed in the right direction, but maybe if Charles had moved more to his left so that he was closer to the dock, it might have been a stronger picture.
The main problem is that left third of the distant landscape. By angling the camera a little to the right but keeping the leading line of the dock in the frame, the result might have been just that bit more vigorous.
