The spectacular sky rather than the famous skyline is the real hero of Kevin Thornhill’s accurately exposed and focused picture. Whilst the clouds provide a strong sense of convergence toward the setting sun, I think the dynamism could have been improved by either moving some distance to the left. Had that not been possible, re-framing the shot to place the sunset closer to the right third of the image would have decreased its slightly static feel.
