During my last-minute/no-plans week-long trip to London, I visited the usual tourist hotspots, as well as various graffiti tunnels, where the amount of stencil and spray paint art on the walls could overwhelm everyone’s senses.
I visited during what seemed to be a gathering of comic book cosplayers, evidently gathering there for their own photoshoot. It’s not every day you see Marvel and DC comic fans getting along all dandy.
Don’s response
This picture is all about the dramatic lighting. But, eye-catching as it is, I think it is a little diminished by the comparatively static silhouetted figures.
Apart from the seated figure left, there isn’t anything particularly intriguing about the others… they don’t seem to be interacting with the space or each other. I wonder if Bright Chen might have been better to have waited for more visual tension to evolve as people moved about.
