Photographing famous objects such as this one presents the picture taker with a fundamental challenge.
Do you settle for one of the usual postcard views, or, do you put your thinking cap on and look for an offbeat angle to spice up the interest?
Photographer Shaun Busuttil’s take is definitely in the latter category and, I think, successfully so.
The subject is transformed but still instantly recognizable, and that is to be admired.
