‘Kangaroo Skyline’ is a picture that one could easily imagine being used as an editorial illustration or as part of a witty meme on social media.
Photographer Mark Davies’ incongruous juxtaposition of an instantly recognizable Australian animal with the glittering towers of a city skyline is both gently amusing and slightly melancholy.
