Were it not for the outboard motors, and the baseball capped figure left, Yee Fang Lu’s picture might have been made at anytime in the last 100 years.

Overall I find the composition reasonably strong, but this is also one of those images where I can’t help but see other pictures in the frame.

Imagine for instance if the camera was closer to the scene so as to crop out the aforementioned hatted figure and angled down slightly so that the top of the frame skimmed just above the distant ridge line…
