This is a good example of seeing a picture in an environment where few photographers would have their “eye” engaged. After all, what could be less interesting than a sterile and anonymous stairwell?
But Francis Galiluyo could see the photographic potential of this gleaming and utilitarian location.
Without the figures, it might’ve been a mildly interesting study in symmetry, but with them it becomes an intriguing little visual puzzle.
