May 29, 2008: YARP (Your ARts Prizes) today announced the launch of the first Australian online funding database for the arts.
With a total monetary pool of over $35 million (and growing daily), the database contains up-to-date information on prizes and funding in crafts, ceramics, design, digital art, drawing, glass art, jewelry, new media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and textiles. A premium subscription service allows users to access full prize details, including prize organization, contacts and venue, and to filter results by entry closing month, State, medium, genre, and prizes with valid web pages to visit. Premium subscribers can also elect to receive a monthly digest of newly added prizes to the database via email.
